Tax-Aide sessions full for season

AARP Tax-Aide sessions for free tax help are full for the season.

"All our tax appointments for this year are full and our cancellation list is full," Lake City Center administrative director Marlys Silva said Tuesday. "We enjoyed serving our community and we will do it again next year."

Karen Cummings, Idaho state Tax-Aide coordinator and district coordinator for Kootenai and Shoshone counties, said appointments at all sites — Lake City Center, Rathdrum, Hayden and Kellogg — are booked.

"We don't even have a lot of wiggle room anymore,” Cummings said. "That’s a good sign. We’re just sorry we can’t serve everybody. We’d love to serve more people.”

Tax Day this year is April 18.
