NIC trustees to discuss vacancy

The North Idaho College board of trustees will meet Tuesday to discuss the interview process for trustee Zone 5 applicants.

The Zone 5 seat was vacated when Michael Barnes, who had served just one year, resigned on Jan. 12. Barnes' residency had been scrutinized and was the subject of local debate and press coverage.

Eleven people have applied for the volunteer position.

Tuesday's special meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the Edminster Student Union Building, Driftwood Bay Room on the NIC main campus in Coeur d’Alene.
