Dr. Bradley Scott Reed, D.C., of Rathdrum, Idaho, passed away at Schneidmiller Hospice House on Saturday morning, Feb. 26, 2022. Brad’s wife and daughters were by his bedside during his time of passing. He was 74 years old. Brad was born in Longview, Wash., Feb. 15, 1948. He was the son of Dallas and Mavis Reed. Brad has two sisters and one brother.

Brad was married for over 52 years to his wife, Terrie. He has three daughters who have always been his pride and joy. He never ceased to share about them to anyone who would listen. Brad attended Lewis-Clark State College for his pre-chiropractic courses. He then attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic graduating in 1976.

Brad was a Navy veteran, serving in Vietnam. He loved his country and served it proudly and with honor. He was a true patriot. Brad, being a dedicated Christian, loved and served his Lord daily, witnessing and sharing about Him with others as he felt led to. He was committed to chiropractic and continued to study throughout his life to keep himself informed and up to date on information relevant in treating his patients with chiropractic care.

Brad was a dedicated Gonzaga Bulldogs fan and rarely missed watching a game. He knew the facts and stats about Gonzaga and other college teams. He was often seen wearing a Gonzaga Bulldogs hat. Fishing was also a passion. He made several trips to Alaska with his brother to fish, returning home to fill up the freezer with his catch. On one such trip he caught a 39.1-pound king salmon, which at the end of the season, won him an all-expense paid trip back to do it all over again.

Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Mavis N. Reed, his father, Dallas E. Reed, his brother, Gregory T. Reed, and his sister, Deborah Barney Reed. Brad will be missed by his beloved wife, Terrie; daughters, Rachel Burlingame, Renae Donnell and Rebecca Heffter; sister, Becky Weber and her husband, Scott Weber.
