TRUMP: Guilty by treason

| June 24, 2022 1:00 AM

Whoever owing allegiance to the U.S. levies war against them is guilty of treason.

Former president Trump recruited the Proud Boys and other militia. Instructing them, “Stand back and stand down;” await your orders.

He set the date for the Capitol attack. “Come to D.C. January 6th; Will be Wild!” He deployed them. “Go to the Capitol and fight like hell or you won’t have a country anymore!” Go stop the certification.

He then sat in the White House dining room for more than three hours watching on TV the crazed mob attack our sacred Capitol and assaulted Capitol Police as Congressional members and their staffers hunkered down for safety. The president’s staff members and his own children begged him to call off the crazed mob and send reinforcements to the Capitol to defend the people being assaulted. The president refused. In an act of revenge, Donald Trump expressed support for the crowd attempting to locate and hang Vice President Mike Pence on the Capitol steps.

“Maybe Mike Pence should be hanged!” Mike Pence finally gave the order to send reinforcements, an order that he made although he did not have the authority to give.

President Donald Trump is the first president in our democracy’s history to forcibly impede the peaceful transition of power. Therefore he owing allegiance to the U.S. levies war against them, is guilty of treason.
