U.S. Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships — Timbers ’05 boys win opener

BOISE — Zac Olson scored the go-ahead goal, assisted by Stirling Roget, with two minutes left as the Timbers North FC 2005 boys red beat Alaska 2-1 in their opener in the 17U boys division at the U.S. Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships.
Cooper Prohaska scored on a penalty kick for the Timbers, and Miles Taylor had four saves in goal.
The Timbers play Utah Avalanche ECNL today as group play continues.
