Penny Joyce (Hickman) Simmons, 75

Penny Joyce (Hickman) Simmons, 75, of Post Falls, Idaho, died Monday, June 27, 2022. Penny was born June 19, 1947, in Salem, Ore.

She worked as a CNA for Spokane Hospice and then the bookstore/coffee shop of her church before retiring.

Survivors include daughters Christine Simmons of Olympia, Wash., and Kimberly Cooks of Spokane Valley, Wash., two grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

There will be a celebration of Penny's life 10 a.m.to noon on July 30, at the Trailhead Event Center in Post Falls.
