Pickleball tourney in Coeur d'Alene starts today

COEUR d'ALENE — The 2022 Coeur d'Alene Classic pickleball tournament begins today and runs through Sunday at Cherry Hill Park on 15th Street.

Men's and women's doubles are scheduled for today and Friday, mixed doubles on Friday and Saturday, and men's and women's doubles on Sunday.

A total of 18 courts will be used for the USA Pickleball-sanctioned event.

For 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 skill levels, age divisions are 19-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70-and-over.

for the 4.5 and 5.0 skill levels, there are two age divisions — 19-and-over and 35-and-over.
