SASQUATCH: Stories, research and reality

| July 8, 2022 1:00 AM

The mountains of the Pacific Northwest are ideal for Sasquatch or Bigfoot. The Olympic Peninsula, Washington, has provided many sightings.

Helping us to do geologic mapping in the Olympics was a Makah Native American (1970s). Scott said, “that these creatures were seen to cross the roads at night, and were known for hundreds of years.”

The Olympics have an abundance of deer, elk, salmon, and berries on which to feed.

The adults may be eight-plus feet in height and weigh 1,000-plus pounds. They have family groups and are migratory?

Anthropologist Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum (Idaho State University) estimates that for every 100 black bears, there is one Sasquatch?

Primatologist Dr. Mireya Mayor and many other researchers have documented “nests” and “tree structures.”

Researchers use calls, directional sound, DNA, drone, electromagnetic signature, infrared, infrasound, Lidar (removes ground cover), pheromones and trail cameras.

A famous video was taken in 1967 in Northern California. Forensic artists have drawn human-like sketches from witnesses.

These creatures are nocturnal, have eye shine and have a “rotten flesh” stench — unlike Apes. The extinct (?) Nephilim (Genesis 6:1-4, Giants) also had a terrible stench according to early Native Americans.

Like many animals they can camouflage (cloak?) themselves. My friend Jim (1980s) said that the creature appeared almost transparent at dusk? Associated with “orbs of light.”

What is Sasquatch? DNAs register chimpanzee — orangutan — human? Theory: Sasquatch may be related to the Nephilim — a hybrid.

“Always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth“ (2 Timothy 3:7).
