TO NWCCU: ‘Conservative’ credentials

To the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, from thousands of very concerned citizens:

We’ll be succinct. North Idaho is a “conservative” area, not just a “Conservative” area. This area has been held captive by a minority liberal group for decades. A conservative group has recently become active and has “non-politically” gained elected offices across North Idaho, to include North Idaho College.

This has incensed that minority of “non-political” citizens and their mouthpiece, the Coeur d’Alene Press and its editor. Endless “selected” examples of articles demanding removal of our fine serving NIC board of trustees infests the newspaper daily.

The demand for a “supposed non-political” minority to continue to control our beautiful community has been “the” primary issue in that newspaper for months, and has eventually “demanded” that you come to Coeur d’Alene.

Control of North Idaho by an “unelected minority” has been forced down the throats of our communities. The new voice of the people of North Idaho is apparently difficult for that minority to accept. The new board has made sage decisions, are highly professional, and are being harassed under the pretext of performance.
