Deputies involved in shooting

The Press has just received word that Kootenai County Sheriff's deputies and at least one Coeur d'Alene Police officer were involved in a shooting around 5:30 p.m. today.

According to early reports, a man pointed a rifle at law enforcement officers, who fired and injured the man.

The man was reportedly alive when he was transported to Kootenai Health.
