Paul was born on Dec. 30, 1937, to Orville and Lily Gorringe in Salt Lake City, Utah.

After playing varsity football and graduating from South High School in 1956, Paul went on to attend and play football for Westminster College. He graduated with a degree in business and was inducted into the Westminster College football hall of fame.

In 1960, Paul met Beverly Quilico, it was love at first sight, and they soon married in Red Lodge, Mont. They recently celebrated 61 years of marriage on Sept. 3, 2021.

Paul was a sergeant in the Army Reserves; he loved his country and served 20+ years.

Paul was passionate about his beloved Sheltie dogs and loved them dearly. He enjoyed investing in the stock market and made it a lifelong hobby. He was funny, loving, and kind.

Anyone that knew Paul knew that he was the most loving father and a spouse a family could ask for. He took special care of looking after the love of his life, right up until his last breath.
