Pearl Realty hires new Director of Sales and Operations

April Markowski is the new director of sales and operations of the Hayden-based real estate brokerage Pearl Realty. She leads the residential and commercial real estate office located at 9493 N. Government Way, and oversees its team of agents and operation staff serving North Idaho and eastern Washington.

Joel Pearl, broker and owner of Pearl Realty, hired Markowski for this position on Nov 1. Markowski is armed with an impressive real estate sales career of her own paired with a deep understanding of contracts, escrow and title. Markowski joined Pearl Realty in 2016 as a transaction coordinator following her career at Kootenai Title, but she quickly advanced into sales.

In April’s first six months as an agent, she sold $15 million in real estate. Fast forward five years and in 2021 alone April sold an incredible $37 million in real estate — setting record residential sales in Spokane, Hayden Lake, Spirit Lake and Rathdrum.

“I’ve been in the business for 18 years and have never been more confident in somebody who understands sales and leadership,” said Pearl, who started his real estate career in 2004. “I’ve seen a lot of brokers and leaders of real estate companies who don’t have sales experience. April is incredibly well suited to continue the theme of excellence at Pearl Realty — in service, value to our clients and taking us to the next level as the real estate industry is evolving before our eyes.”

You can contact Pearl Realty at 208-762-5500 or www.pearlrealty.com.
