Children’s Opera performs Wednesday

Whitworth University’s WhitOpera presents “St. George and the Dragon” at the Music Conservatory of Coeur d’Alene Wednesday.

The show is a one-act opera for young audiences with puppets and set creation by Aaron Dyszelski and music by Sterling Tingsley. The show is directed by Scott D. Miller with music direction by Toni Helms and libretto by Kate Pogue.

Show times are 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. All are welcome and admission is free.

The music conservatory is housed in the historic Hamilton House at 627 N. Government Way in Coeur d’Alene.
