Three trustees to take oaths

Three newly-elected trustees will take the oath of office at the meeting of the Coeur d’Alene School District board of trustees at 5 p.m. on Monday at the Midtown Center Meeting Room in Coeur d’Alene.

Incumbent Rebecca Smith was re-elected to Zone 5. Allie Anderton won the race for Zone 1, and Lesli Bjerke for Zone 4.

The board will also select trustees to take on the positions of chair, vice-chair and treasurer.

They will also appoint an acting clerk of the board, designate a custodian on public records, review and sign the code of ethics, and establish the regular meeting of the board for 2022 and posting locations.

Toward the end of the meeting, the board will move into executive session to discuss real estate transactions.

Seating capacity is capped at 72 per the Fire Marshal.
