KCFR celebrates 20 years of service

Kootenai County Fire and Rescue celebrated its 20th anniversary with a banquet at Red Lion Templins in Post Falls on Friday evening.

Post Falls Fire and Ambulance consolidated to form Kootenai County Fire and Rescue in 2002. On Friday, the four fire chiefs from that time through today were among 300 attendees for the presentation of annual awards and years of service and promotions recognition.

Top honorees included:

Firefighter of the Year:

FF/EMT Brad Foster

Paramedic of the Year:

FF/Paramedic Cory Evanson

Rookie of the Year:

FF/Paramedic Cameron Taylor

Dedication and Devotion: Jared Reed

Commissioner's Award:
