Madsen promoted to VP of retail experience

Rusty Madsen has been promoted to Numerica Credit Union’s vice president of retail experience. Madsen will prioritize deepening member relationships while leading the Spokane and North Idaho-area retail teams.

“Over the past five years at Numerica, I’ve been fortunate to forge strong relationships throughout the credit union and with our members,” Madsen said. “Numerica’s retail team is truly amazing, and I’m excited to build on that foundation through leading talented individuals.”

Madsen has 19 years of experience in the financial industry. He has held various positions, including leadership, deposit operations, commercial and consumer lending. Most recently, he served as a private banking relationship officer for Numerica.

“Rusty is committed to being a best-in-class leader,” said Marci Miller, Numerica’s SVP of retail experience and engagement. “His strong collaboration, open communication style and heart to serve others has resulted in being a sought-after mentor for many across Numerica.”

Headquartered in Spokane Valley, Numerica has more than 165,000 members throughout Eastern Washington, Central Washington and North Idaho. The credit union manages more than $3.3 billion in assets. It offers a full line of financial products and services, including mortgages and business products, and is committed to giving back 5 percent of its earnings to the community each year. Numerica is federally insured by NCUA and an equal housing opportunity lender. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works or worships in the state of Washington or North Idaho.
