ANNOUNCEMENT OF PREQUALIFICATION FOR SOLIDS BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS AT THE CITY OF COEUR D'ALENE ADVANCED WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY Sealed written responses to the prequalification questionnaires will be received from General Contractors by the City of Coeur d'Alene, 710 E. Mullan Ave., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 83814, at the office of the City Clerk on or before the March 1, 2022, until the hour of 2:00 p.m., local time, of said day for Work at the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility (AWTF) expected to consist of the following: All labor, equipment, and materials for the Solids Building Improvements project at the AWTF for the City, generally consisting of demolition and removal of an existing belt filter press; installing a new Owner-furnished centrifuge; new centrate pumping, mixing, and tank cover; odor control improvements, Solids Building expansion, performing all other associated structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and instrumentation work required for a completely operational system as specified within the forthcoming Project Manual; and paying all associated state and local taxes. The Engineer's Estimate for this work is $4.8M - $6.0M. The City has determined that all bidders on the Solids Building Improvements must be prequalified prior to submitting bids. If the successful Bidder is unable to execute the contract, at no fault of the City, the City reserves the right to reject the bid and award the contract to the next lowest, responsive, prequalified bidder.
