Charity ball to support pets

Help Every Little Paw is holding the 10th annual “Bartenders’ Ball," a charity sponsored event to raise funds to help furry friends.

H.E.L.P. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the health and happiness of pets. The organization’s goal is to rescue abandoned, stray or neglected pets and provide medical attention, spay and neuter programs, socialization, rehabilitation and food.

The charity ball will be held at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Plaza Shops on Sherman Avenue in downtown Coeur d’Alene on March 12 from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

The event features tasting of gourmet appetizers and sampling of cocktails provided by area caterers, chefs and bartenders from several local businesses. Attendees will get to vote for their favorite.

There will also be giveaways. silent auctions and special entertainment with music and a live DJ provided by Ruby Frog Entertainment.

Attendees are also encouraged to bring pet food. For each pound of food, donors will receive a ticket for a chance to win prizes worth over $500.

Entrance tickets are $50 in advance and $55 at the door. Tickets may be purchased with Holly and Karen at Windermere Coeur d’Alene office, 1000 Northwest Blvd., or online at HelpEveryLittlePaw.org. Past year tickets sold out.
