Vantage Point Brewing Co. opening downtown Cd'A
Made-in-house beers and Northwest-inspired pub-bistro food are offered at the new Vantage Point Brewing Co. opening soon at 208 E. Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive (across from Michael D's).
The large new building has indoor seating for 110 at tables and the bar counter and outdoor for 60. The modern Northwest decor includes a fire lookout tower theme, a gathering place with meeting spaces and indoor-outdoor games and music, two TVs for sports and kids' movies and two outdoor gas firepits.
Hours will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with more in the summer and on weekends with brewery tours offered. Owners are Kevan and Dr. Brenna McCrummen with Dr. John and Dr. Becca Siemers, Dr. Sara Duke, Nick and Dr. Alison Granier, Dr. Adam Duke, Chris and Alisa Vincent and Vern Spaulding.

Caliber Collision open in Post Falls
Vehicle repairs of all types are available at Caliber Collision that opened a new location at 4081 Primrose Lane (northwest of the Highway 41-Interstate 90 interchange) in Post Falls.
Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays for auto body repair, glass repair and replacement, paintless dent repair, paint repair and hail-damage repair. The 25-year-old company has 1,500 locations in 40 states.

• With a grand opening planned for Jan. 1, Berry Bay Smoothies will have in-store and outdoor seating and a drive-through at 8160 N. Cornerstone Drive in Hayden.

• A two-story, 26,000-square-foot building for Hayden Surgery Center is under construction at 8552 Government Way. The main floor will include Orthopedic Urgent Care, an orthopedic clinic and a physical therapy office. The second floor will have a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center with four operating rooms and a procedure room. The basement will have storage, mechanical and electrical spaces.
