NIC TRUSTEES: A theory for the board to challenge

| December 18, 2022 1:00 AM

I’m trying to understand the controlling trio of the NIC board of trustees. They have not reveled a public explanation of goals for their destructive actions. Therefore, I offer a theory of their conspiracy. It’s easy to construct, because it closely follows the Trump playbook.

They want the power to totally control NIC operations. When orders are not obeyed, they become angry and take action to remove obstacles. They then replace the obstructionists with loyal friends and followers. This was working until they lost majority control of the board. A short delay created setbacks, until they regained control.

Immediately, the school’s oppositional attorney was illegitimately replaced with an ally, and the new duly vetted president will be replaced with one who doesn’t question their authority. They also have frozen hiring of other leaders until a new puppet president can follow their directions for filling positions.

This all defies requirements of the accreditation commission and jeopardizes NIC’s future. Loss of accreditation, however, doesn’t concern the conspirators, because they intend to dismantle the NIC establishment and start over.

They will hire and fire whom they want, design curriculum to fit their values and sell properties to pay higher bills. Without needed experts or funding, they will build a college doomed to failure. RIP Banducci Christian College.

I urge the board to challenge this theory, but with very convincing truths, or their explanation will be labeled fake news. The conspiracy theory will become the favored facts and the conspirators will lose all support.
