Spokane Valley Summer Theatre presents 'A Big Band Christmas'
Spokane Valley Summer Theatre is planning on making Christmas bigger and brighter with its production of "A Big Band Christmas" from Dec. 16-18. The production, which returns after a popular run in 2021, will feature 18 of the region’s top singers and a massive 17 piece professional orchestra at the University High School Theatre in the Spokane Valley.
Business Administration Officer Katie Guarisco says that this year’s production will feel new to audiences after being revamped with new music and arrangements, several new cast members, and a new script.
"With songs ranging from Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ to the Christmas classic ‘A Child Is Born,’ this festive show features something for every taste."
The 'man in the red suit' will also be in attendance for a special guest appearance, with photos available after each performance.
A Big Band Christmas will spread holiday cheer for one weekend only on Dec. 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 17 and 18 at 2 p.m.
