Farragut State Park hosts winter events
Winter weather arrived and there are plenty of upcoming outdoor events to celebrate the new year. Several Idaho State Parks are hosting a First Day Hikes on Jan. 1, as well as the annual Free Ski/Winter Access Day on Jan. 7.
Farragut State Park will be hosting both.
The guided hike (or snowshoe, weather-dependent) on Jan. 1 will be held at 10 a.m.
On Jan. 7, Explore the trails of the park on snowshoes or cross country skis and enjoy the natural beauty of Farragut in the winter! Participants are also welcome to bring non-perishable food item for a food drive.
