Hayden Surgery Center under construction
A two-story, 26,000-square-foot building for Hayden Surgery Center is under construction at 8552 Government Way.
The main floor will include Orthopedic Urgent Care, an orthopedic clinic and a physical therapy office. The second floor will have a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center with four operating rooms and a procedure room. The basement will have storage, mechanical and electrical spaces.
With completion planned for September, the general contractor is Ginno Construction and the architect is Longwell + Trapp Architects of Hayden.
Incyte Diagnostics opens in Post Falls
In partnership with Northwest Specialty Hospital, Incyte Diagnostics has opened a clinical laboratory at 750 N. Syringa (Suite 101) in Post Falls.
With a patient service center, it provides options for residents seeking blood and specimen collections. Northwest Specialty Hospital CEO Rick Rasmussen said the physician-owned hospital system serves the Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls and Hayden regions with an expansion into Athol this spring.
