COEUR d’ALENE — The Vikings outshot the Bengals 20-6, but a goal in the 42nd minute by Olivia Lukhart was the difference in an Inland Empire League match.
“We had trouble in each aspect of the game,” Coeur d’Alene coach Andy Vredenburg said. “Lewiston outplayed us and deserved the win. We had trouble connecting passes and finishing our opportunities. It’s something we need to learn from and continue to get better at. We were close on a couple of shots, but just couldn’t get them on frame and their keeper made some great saves.”
