CDA 2030: Make Idaho California

| August 7, 2022 1:00 AM

I have developed a multi-point plan for accelerating the CDA 2030 goals. I call it the Make Idaho California Plan. I want to focus today on growth and development.

With so much new housing being built, we can take Encinitas, California’s lead and ban gas stoves in new developments. Who needs perfectly cooked steak? Nobody! And then, we’ll ban stoves altogether.

Parks. We need parks everywhere. Now ultimately the goal is to turn CDA into one large park, because that would be for the greater good of the environment. That is why we must also build massive skyscrapers. 85% of the population should reside on Sherman by the end of the decade.

We need to reinvent the roads. Let’s follow in Mira Mesa, California’s footsteps, creating a very dangerous one lane, two-way road, with room for bikes going in each direction. Sounds like a mess? It is. With any luck, these roads will slow the growth.

Soon, we will return Sherman Avenue to its car-less roots, and make it bike only. All parking will be replaced with bike racks.

In order to speed up migration here from coastal states, we will tell Californians that — due to global warming — Stateline, Idaho, will soon be oceanfront property.

In conclusion, I am recommending that we repackage the CDA 2030 agenda as the ‘Make Idaho California’ plan. Together, we can move Idaho forward.
