SOUZA: Support of a sort

While I do appreciate Mary Souza’s column about the current KCRCC, I’m kind of thinking it was a bit of sour grapes. It was the line about your efforts toward “fair and honest elections” that got me.

Earlier this year you championed a new, more restrictive law regarding primary elections. That law does not benefit Idahoans, it benefits the Republican Party. That was a move the KCRCC loved. So, not seeing your name on their little flyer made me wonder what happened behind the scenes.

Rest assured Ms. Souza, that little flyer has made clear who I won’t vote for. Since you’re not on the list, you just might get my vote. All I respectfully ask is, if your campaign is successful, that you adjust your priorities. Let’s put Idaho in front of politics for a change.
