Disability Action Center hosting emergency preparedness workshop

POST FALLS — The Disability Action Center is hosting an Emergency Preparedness workshop for people with disabilities, this Thursday from 1-3 p.m.

Retired Fire Chief Bill Steele, a volunteer with DAC will instruct in how to: build a to-go bag, check and maintain smoke detectors, fire extinguisher basics, creating a defensible space around your home and ensuring provision of access to first responders.

The workshop is free and takes place at the Department of Labor at 600 N. Thornton in Post Falls. Call 208-457-3891 to register.
