SLOGANS: Missing the Donald

Do we miss those Trump greatest hits and those catchy phrases? Let’s review:

Who can forget phrases like “Lock her up” directed at Hillary Clinton? Or how about “fake news” said to CNN’s Jim Acosta?

Then there was “I’m going to cut taxes bigley.” Naturally “MAGA (Make America Great Again).” You don’t see too many of these anymore. People still drive their big lifted trucks with the American flag or “Don’t tread on me.”

Let’s not forget “Build that wall” and of course “witch hunt” directed as a defense of the Russian investigation.

Then our ex-president Trump called the war dead “losers and suckers.” Remember everything was about winning. Reminds you of Charlie Sheen, right?

Then there was “America First” which was a dog whistle for racist, antisemitic, anti-government conspiracy and alt-right. Who could forget that he said climate change is a “Hoax,” Then there was “China virus” and “Kung flu.” How about when Trump attacked the media and called them “the enemy of the people.”

There are just so many Republican catch phrases. Maybe the Dems need a few to counteract before the November elections.
