BIDEN: Buck stops there

The White House is trying to convince us that a) inflation and cost of gas is all due to “Putin Price Hikes” and; b) that the southern border is closed. With news comes homework so let’s do the homework.

The Consumer Price Index (a measurement of inflation) rose 7.5% between Joe Biden’s inauguration and the day before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It rose an additional 2.4% since the invasion of Ukraine. The cost of things we buy has increased 10% since Joe Biden became president with three quarters of it happening before the invasion!

The National Average cost of Gas rose 47% between the inauguration and invasion plus an additional 23% since. That’s a total increase of 70% with two thirds of it happening before the invasion!

Monthly border Enforcement encounters was 78,414 the month before Joe Biden became president and is 164,973 now for a whopping 110% increase.

Joe Biden needs to take responsibility for his part in this and not look for a scapegoat. Michael Hopf penned “Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.” Where are we on this timeline now?
