Notice of Advertisement for Prequalification for Gozzer Water Treatment Plant Expansion for North Kootenai Water and Sewer District North Kootenai Water and Sewer District is prequalifying licensed public works contractors who are interested in bidding on the Gozzer Water Treatment Plan Expansion project pursuant to Idaho Code § 67-2805(2)(b). The project generally consists of converting the existing Gozzer Ranch slow sand filter into a new rapid sand filter water treatment plant and water storage facility. The project also includes mechanical pipe retrofitting, booster pump installation, construction of a new building and waterline installation. Actual bid quantities may change pending final design of the project. The estimated project cost is between $3,000,000 and $4,000,000. The project is anticipated to be bid in June 2022 and construction must be completed prior to the May 2024. The main construction window for the project will be October 2023 through May 2024.
