VACCINE: Political hot potato

| September 19, 2021 1:00 AM

In the article, “Sweeping new vaccine mandates in store for 100 million Americans,” the author described Joe Biden’s plan to punish those Americans who refuse to get vaccinated.

Although it was quite a lengthy article, I saw no mention of the fact that the unionized USPS is exempt from the mandate (isn’t that curious?). Nor did I see any mention of mandating folks on government assistance, those who have crossed our southern border illegally (who are known to bring a myriad of diseases with them) or those folks brought over from Afghanistan?

No, punishment is reserved for independent thinking Americans who may be reluctant to be vaccinated with an unproven and perhaps dangerous cocktail of chemicals. Punishment is reserved for those who fear an allergic reaction or any of the other several potential side effects — side effects that are typically studied over a long period of time (5-10 years) before most vaccines are approved for human use.

Like it or not, this has become politicized. If President Trump issued these mandates, would the reaction be different?
