Bennett, a 6-foot-3 freshman forward from Pleasantville, Utah, scored four goals and added an assist for the Cardinal in a 10-0 win over Pierce on Saturday in Puyallup, Wash. On the season, Bennett leads the Northwest Athletic Conference with seven goals and 15 points. “In general, he’s just a good goal scorer,” North Idaho College men’s soccer coach Ken Thompson said. “He’s very athletic and has a really soft touch with the ball and knows how to use his body. We haven’t had anyone like him that can win everything in the air, and he was able to create a lot of opportunities for himself and our team.”
