Mary Pratt

Mary Louise Pratt was born in Birmingham, Ala., on Aug. 30, 1944, to Lester and Louise Dean. She was the first of five children. The family moved multiple times in her younger years.

After finally settling in Spokane, Wash., Mary met the love of her life, Michael D. Pratt. They married and raised their four children just outside of Rathdrum, Idaho.

After living in the Rathdrum area for about 20 years, they moved to Athol, Idaho, where they lived for approximately 35 years. After Mike passed away in 2017, Mary moved to Otis Orchards, Wash., where she lived until her passing on Aug. 26, 2021.

Mary was a deeply religious woman. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She brought many family and friends to the Lord. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her children: son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Bonnie Pratt; her daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and John McCrite; her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Mari Pratt; her son and daughter-in-law Chris and Kim Pratt. Her grandchildren: Nicholas Pratt, Rebecca Pratt, Jacob Pratt, Sean McCrite, Kyle McCrite, Dennis Atherton, Jillian Andrus and Michael Pratt. Her great-grandchildren: Connor McCrite, Emma McCrite, Sadie McCrite, Kamden Atherton, Aubrey Atherton, Austin Andrus and Luke Andrus. Mary is also survived by her brother David Dean, her sister Shirley Zolman, her brother Dennis Dean and her brother Dale Dean and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and numerous aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at the English Funeral Chapel located at 1133 N. Fourth St., in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. A reception will follow immediately at the same location. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens, 7315 N. Government Way, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
