DALTON: The best choices

| October 29, 2021 1:00 AM

For those wondering who NOT to vote for in the Dalton Gardens City Council race, look no further than Lila Tatum’s letter on Oct. 28. Tatum, a member of the small special interest group that has divided the city, urges voters to vote for Sue Supp and Curt Jernigan. Any resident who paid attention to the last two years of our council’s reckless management in their pursuit of personal agendas will recognize that Supp and Jernigan are part of this same special interest group.

Do voters really want more of the same? Supported by Carrie Chase, who signed Sue Supp’s candidate application, and members of the current council, Sue Supp and Curt Jernigan did not participate in the candidate forum that was set up by community members. They later hosted their own poorly attended forum at the Donut House in Hayden, at which none of the other candidates were invited.

Dalton Gardens is too great of a community to become tarnished by the Chase, Craft, Wuest, Supp and Jernigan special interest group. A vote for Scott Jordan and Tyler Drechsel would bring back a working council who listens to all of the people who reach out to them, stays within budget, and works for the best interests of the community. Scott and Tyler do not have personal agendas. They will not spend our taxpayer money on outside lawyers, etc., when they don’t get the answers they want.

Please vote for Scott Jordan and Tyler Drechsel. Dalton Gardens needs your vote!
