SCHOOLS: Stick to your domain

| October 27, 2021 1:00 AM

After reading the Coeur d’Alene School District Superintendent’s letter in the Coeur d’Alene Press, while explaining that there is no CRT being taught in our local schools, he did say that there is equity being taught. Equity is taking from one group whom you think has too much and giving it to another.

I don’t think any of this is up to schools to teach. Outside from making sure that students treat one another with respect, schools need to be teaching our children the three Rs. It’s not up to schools to teach our children morals and values. Parents are awake and engaged now, which is as it should be.

Our children are OUR children and do not belong to the schools and by extension the government to indoctrinate with left-wing ideology. School administrators need to come clean about what they are teaching and do the jobs that they should have been doing all along. They have no business teaching equity either.
