MAY: Trust in this trustee

We’re writing this letter to urge the citizens residing in Coeur d’Alene School Board Trustee Zone 1 (neighborhoods east of 15th Avenue from Lake Coeur d’Alene to Hayden Lake) to vote for the candidate who is the most experienced, knowledgeable and independent, Lisa May.

We have known Lisa for many years and have watched her take a calm and reasoned approach to our multiple issues confronting our schools.

Prior to joining the school board, she has served on the school district’s Long Range Planning Committee and led the way on a previous successful levy and bond campaign.

This is in contrast to her opponent who admitted at a recent Coeur d’Alene Press Candidate Forum that she voted “no” on the most recent levy.

Lisa is a product of public schools and the mother of three students. I appreciate her willingness to resume this role in the face of increasing vitriol toward our volunteer school board members.
