POEM: God’s Autumn

| October 20, 2021 1:00 AM

The summer flowers have to sleep

Except for just a few,

Mums now raise their pretty heads

In October’s morning dew.

‘Tis the reason of reflection

So much beauty to be found

in every leaf of every tree

When Autumn’s touch abounds.

We can feel the warmth of Autumn’s sun, as we sit with a sigh.

It’s then we know without a doubt, that God has just passed by.
