WILHELM: Exceeds expectations

| October 10, 2021 1:00 AM

I have known Linda Wilhelm for more than two decades. She has always done what she said she was going to do, and usually more.

Linda’s nine years of experience on the Planning and Zoning Commission, her 14 years on the City Council, and her decade on the Jobs Plus board have resulted in hundreds of additional jobs available for local residents.

The Post Falls City Council and its Urban Renewal Agency together helped raise funds for the Greensferry Overpass, giving travelers an important access route across Interstate 90. The overpass was paid in great part by tax growth from new homes and businesses in the area. Those same new tax sources are helping pay for widening and improving Highway 41 right now, demonstrating the foresight by Linda and her colleagues over many years.

Personally, Linda has leveraged her lifelong friendships in our town to spearhead private fundraising that has beautified our city’s entrances. She has influenced land donations for new schools and parks. Linda is smart, understands how to plan for and manage growth, and she knows the law and always follows it. She has shown total dedication to our city’s residents for most of her adult life!

Re-elect Linda Wilhelm to the Post Falls City Council (Seat 6) on Nov. 2 to continue sound leadership in our town.
