Sharon A. Landberg, 84

Sharon A. Landberg, age 84, passed away peacefully on Nov. 11, 2021, in Ventura, Calif. Sharon was born in California on Nov. 16, 1937, to William and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy. She went to school in Ventura and graduated from Ventura HS in 1955.

Sharon spent most of her life as a homemaker. She loved doing a variety of sewing and crafts, trivia and debating. She had strong opinions and would welcome a challenge to her thoughts. When her daughters were young, she was involved in Girl Scouts of America as a leader, participating in the many activities that later evolved into their love of camping, traveling and family. Sharon loved to travel on cruise ships with her husband, Dennis, sailing all around the world. They enjoyed their retirement years in Kootenai County, Idaho, and came back to Ventura County to be near family.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Richard) McKnight of Camarillo, son-in-law Dave Moon of Ojai, brother Mike (Nan) Kennedy of Idaho, grandchildren: Clint (Julie) McKnight, Shannon (Richard) Billic, Daniel (Catherine) Moon and Lauren (Gene) Shvetsov and seven great-grandchildren. Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dennis, daughter Barbara, grandson Jason, brother Charles (Bud) Kennedy and parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any charitable organization. The family wishes to extend their gratitude towards the Palliative Care Doctors at CMH for their compassionate care and constant help in keeping her comfortable for the time preceding her passing.

Private services will be held at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo. Arrangements are under the direction of Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ventura.
