NIC board to consider presidential search Monday

The next regular meeting of the North Idaho College board of trustees is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday in the Edminster Student Union Building, Lake Coeur d’Alene Room, and through the Zoom virtual meeting platform.

Trustees may take action on approving a presidential search firm and setting the parameters of that search.

Trustees voted 3-2 in September to fire President Rick MacLennan, who has since filed a lawsuit, alleging wrongful termination.

Before meeting in open session at 6 p.m., the trustees are scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. in executive session.

The board will take comment on agenda items from members of the public in person at Monday's meeting.
