With a special legislative session coming Monday, Coeur d’Alene lawmakers invite the public to attend a legislative town hall this Saturday.

Reps. Paul Amador and Jim Addis want to know what's on your mind regarding vaccination mandates.

The town hall will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Coeur d’Alene School District Midtown Meeting Center, 1505 N. Fifth St.

On Oct. 26, Speaker of the House Scott Bedke, R-Oakley, called lawmakers back to the capital to consider legislation about federal vaccination mandates and to officially conclude the 2021 session. Members of the Idaho House of Representatives will reconvene at the statehouse Monday morning.

“Obviously, the federal vaccination mandates have been highly controversial and polarizing," Amador said in a Tuesday news release. "This town hall will give the public an opportunity to share their thoughts on how Idaho can best respond to these federal actions."
