Beverly Taylor 1935 – 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our mother, Beverly Ann Taylor. She was 86. Beverly died in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho on Oct. 31, 2021, of natural causes. Born July 24, 1935, in Akron, Ohio, Beverly was the only child to Ralph Knuff of Upper Yoder, Penn., and Mary Rose of Brooke, W.V.

At a young age and after the death of her father, she moved to Spokane, Wash. It was while attending Rogers High School in Spokane, that she met our father, Thomas Taylor with whom she married in 1956, and raised 6 children.

You could not know our mother without being charmed by her quick and irreverent wit and her warm heartedness.

She will be deeply missed by her entire family and is survived by her children Theresa Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Molly Crow and husband Andrio, Lynn Neal and husband Bob and Patrick Taylor and wife Kristin.

Beverly was a truly wonderful and loving mother and although small in stature, it was never in doubt who was in charge in our home. Beverly taught each of us the importance of kindness, family and that no one should ever be left behind or forgotten. Our mother was an extremely resilient and a strong little lady. She considered herself blessed to be a grandmother to 15 and a great-grandmother to 16 precious children.

Our dearly departed mother would never forgive us if we did not also mention her fur baby, a beloved Shih Tzu named Mo, and his buddies Abby and Kayden.

Beverly is preceded in death by both of her parents, our father Thomas Taylor and her oldest son, Michael Taylor.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
