CAMERON: A plus for Press

I got a hearty laugh at Steve Cameron’s reference to the Finnish practice of “binge drinking at home in your underpants.” But I almost fell off my chair laughing when he suggested that the practice might numb the pain for Mariners fans.

This was a well written piece. I enjoy Cameron’s work. His is one of the bylines in the paper that I head for first. His presence has elevated the quality of sports writing in our little hometown paper. Keep up the good work.

And I was sorry to hear about Sammie’s passing.
