Kootenai County Career Fair Wednesday
Countywide career fair is on Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m.
Kootenai County's first countywide career fair is scheduled noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.
Departments with openings will have staff at the event to provide job seekers with information about their work and county benefits.
County Human Resource Coordinator CK Kirkpatrick said there are 54 positions open at the county. The county employment portal, bit.ly/3bzL4Ep, lists 27 job opportunities. They include fixed assets accountant, adult misdemeanor probation senior secretary, attorney for the public defender's office and deputy sheriff for the Kootenai County jail.
