LEVY: Quality at fair cost

| May 9, 2021 1:00 AM

The recent Post Falls school levy results were a surprise and a disappointment. I became superintendent of the school district in 1994 and retired in 2001. I observed a school board that was dedicated in providing a basic, responsive caring educational program for the parents and students of the district. A caring and professional staff was also provided through systematic hiring practices.

As a retired educator in the Post Falls School District with more than 40 years experience including 20 years as a superintendent of schools in three different school districts, I have observed the educational program continue to improve under the guidance and leadership of Jerry Keane, Superintendent and now Dena Naccarato.

Under the direction of the Board of Trustees and the administration, the district provides a quality education at a conservative cost for the taxpayers. The district is responsive in answering any and all questions about finances and the educational programs. Now it is time for us to support the younger generation. VOTE YES FOR ALL STUDENTS!
