EXTREMISM: Keep area moderate

THANK YOU for your honest appraisal and vetting of the trustee candidates for the hospital and library boards in Sunday’s Editorial. I hope you will continue.

Many of us Republicans have become concerned at opinions voiced and mailed from the KCRCC. As one person wrote: The KCRCC voting suggestions are helpful — “I’ll know who not to vote for.” You are doing your duty to inform voters of extreme opinions — on both sides of our political parties.

The red flag is up — some people in North Idaho are desirous of changing our moderate culture. We don’t want to lose it.
