RUNKLE: A beacon indeed

I appreciated Bill Buley’s article March 15 about the upcoming dedication of Trinity Group Homes in the name of beloved mover and shaker Bob Runkle.

Bob was ordained a deacon in the Episcopal Church, and with his wife Mary Beth Jorgensen, spread God’s love and healing throughout our community.

One of our St. Luke’s Sunday School children looked up at him and called him “Beacon” Bob. This apt title stuck; he’s a shining beacon indeed!
