MONUMENT: Waste of money

After a year of COVID, I wish that Coeur d’Alene could have found a better use for $75,000 than building an idol to appease the cancel culture gods. Have all the homeless shelters and churches run out of people in need of help?

This statue reminds me of the tower of Babel. And as for unity, why are all the people of color depicted as praising the idol and the white people shown in a separate huddle looking on?
