McFARLAND: Support for hospital trustee

I read with great interest the article in Wednesday’s Press announcing Dr. Robert McFarland’s candidacy for a trustee position on the Kootenai Hospital Board. I would like to wholeheartedly support his bid for this position and encourage others to vote on his behalf.

I recently retired after More than 33 years as a Registered Nurse, all of it served in this community, and have observed his positive contribution firsthand to the health of our community during that time.

His resume speaks for itself as a provider who continually puts the health needs of patients and providers at the forefront. He is a committed public servant and I am encouraged that someone of his insight and resolve is willing to step forward and lead our hospital district.

As patrons, we will not find anyone more qualified, so please consider supporting his spot on our board.
