Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded N right fork rd. regarding a parking problem. Upon their arrival, the vehicle appeared to be the involved vehicle that eluded a Deputy the night prior. They researched the owner who was Flying J off 5th St. in Post Falls. Deputies contacted Flying J and learn the vehicle was stolen. Post Falls PD responded to Flying J and completed the stolen vehicle report.

• A CSO responded to Diagonal Rd X Moose Trl regarding a possible stolen trailer. Upon his arrival he ran the plate and returned to a church in Oregon. He contacted the church who advised it was stolen. He had the church contact the local LE and have the original report completed. After more investigation he was able to locate the person who had the trailer, re-contacted the church who advised the male was able to have the trailer and the church cancelled the original report through the local LE.

• A Deputy responded to an unknown injury crash on Hayden and Country Club Dr. Upon her arrival she learned it was non injury and a female was driving westbound failed to maintain her lane, drove off the road and down an embankment.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to a welfare check. On scene they located a elderly female who was deceased. There was nothing suspicious. 21-10130

• Deputies responded to a trespassing call. On scene they located a male who was refusing to leave. During the investigation marijuana and paraphernalia was located. The male was charged for the drug offenses and trespassed from the location. 21-10133

• A Deputy responded to a psychological. The R/P called to report that her adult daughter was out of control and needed to be taken on a PC Hold. On scene it was determined that the R/P was embellishing in order to have her daughter removed from the residence. The eviction process was explained. 21-10121

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to N. Meadow Street (Northwood Vet Hospital) for a business burglary. The R/P stated the building was burglarized during the night and the medication cabinet had been gone through and money was missing. The business had investigative leads and Deputies completed a crime report. 21-10172

• Deputies responded to a suicide threat/domestic violence. The R/P stated her boyfriend was holding a handgun and threatening to shoot himself. After the investigation, Deputies arrested the boyfriend for aggravated assault. 21-10171

• A Deputy observed a juvenile male on a bridge just west of Wellsley X Seltice in Washington. He contacted the juvenile and learned the juvenile was working up the courage to jump off the bridge. The Deputy returned the juvenile who had some mental health issues to his father in Post Falls who was going to follow-up with his doctor.
